I've just discovered Rebol and am beginning to glimpse its amazing potential. It's requiring some effort on my part to grasp some of the concepts (mainly owing to bringing some conceptual baggage from other, more conventional languages).
My question is - given that Rebol 3.0 is basically a complete re-write - would I be better off waiting for its release (hopefully imminent) before immersing myself in a thorough study of the language? I assume that the basic principles will remain the same as those in Rebol 2.x, but will there be much for a Rebol 2.x user to 'unlearn' when Rebol 3.0 arrives? or are most of the changes 'under the hood'?

No point in waiting for R3. It's not likely you will notice many differences.
