Now >> change-dir .. will take you up a level, never hitting the shift key And of course, change-dir is far too much typing so cd: :change-dir pwd: :what-dir ls: :list-dir goes in user.r as well.  Cheers, Brian N.B. Be careful getting used to a shortcut like that (if it is stashed in user.r) and then letting it slip into a script. No fair shipping open ../data/filename to a customer that doesn't have the definition.
