I have been tracking abebooks.com for a while, and noticed that the 2nd hand REBOL books have all more than doubled in price recently!
What do you think this means?

These books are probably no longer in print.
The price reflects a demand that exceeds supply, which is probably very scarce.

Does anyone know a good place to find "Rebol Programming" by Oliver Auverlot? It is going for over $80 today on Amazon used books. I've found it as low as $35, but good luck finding it in stock. What is interesting is that they don't list it as out of print, but not yet printed (either says 1/1/2005 or 1/1/2006 on most sites). Unfortunately, I think this is the only book that covers more than just Core.

Isn't Rebol Programming by Oliver Auverlot in French? I take it you speak French then? Anyway it's on http://www.abe.com for Price: US$ 54.90 Just key in a search for REBOL and all their stock comes up cheapest first. You have to keep checking about every week for a real bargin though! Oh by the way all the books there are 2nd hand. Good luck finding what you want! |
