Altme on Mandrake Linux problem

I am beginner on Linux and just amator REBOL programmer only.
I've got REBOL on there which works & connects to the net.

I'd like to use Altme as well, but it, as it is now, doesn't like to connect to the net. It just hangs forever on first step. I checked on altme site and it tells me that I can reach REBOL world.

Any hints would really be welcome
